Helping you build unconditional self-love, create secure relationships, and live joyfully after trauma.

Hi, I'm Claire.

I’ve spent the last 15 years helping people rebuild their relationship with themselves after trauma—and what I’ve learned is that true healing comes from reclaiming your identity and rewriting the story you’ve been living.

We all want to feel secure, be confident in our own skin and have amazing relationships.

But trauma takes us away from who we truly are

Do you know who you are and what you want?

Perhaps you feel so disconnected from yourself, you don’t even know what you want, making it impossible to go after it. Or maybe you have a hard time going after what truly lights you up because you’re scared you can’t do it, that it’s too big a dream, or it's not the "right path."

But here’s a question…

If you couldn’t be yourself as a kid, how do you expect to know who you are now?

And how can you possibly be yourself, if you don't know who that is?

That’s exactly what I’m here to help you with.

We mistake our trauma for who we are.

We form beliefs from trauma, believing untrue things about ourselves, things like being unworthy, undeserving, and unlovable. We mistake the truth of what happened to us for who we are! And those insidious beliefs impact how we behave in the world and how we relate to others, so they get reinforced and we believe them even more.

They become our self-concept.

But, I want to tell you...

Your trauma isn't who you are.
Your overcoming of it is.

“Working with Claire has changed my life. Through our work together, I've developed a much better sense of self-awareness, compassion and confidence."

— PRIVATE CLIENT

She brings a unique depth of wisdom to therapy that blends traditional tools with more expansive, forward-thinking perspectives, which has had transformative results for me. Importantly, unlike therapists I've worked with in the past, she won't just sit there and nod and smile - she'll challenge you, hold a mirror and lovingly call you out when you're getting in your own way. That kind of honesty, paired with real compassion, is rare and exactly what I needed to grow.

“Claire is an exceptionally wise and gentle guide. Working with her was like finding safe harbor in a terrible storm: in the midst of a traumatic family event I found deep and grounding support, the kind that helped me to truly contend with the event."

— KATIE

Her support during that period was transformative in my experience of the trauma and myself and my family are all far better off for it. I am so grateful to Claire for this gift of light in the darkness.

TESTIMONIALS

Together, we work to:

  • Identify the beliefs you’ve carried from trauma
  • Replace self-criticism with self-compassion

  • Reconnect with the parts of you that were hidden or shut down
  • Build a new, loving relationship with yourself
  • Create secure, connected relationships with others

You don’t have to keep living out your trauma.

You can start telling a new story — the one that’s actually true.

Don't waste your life living in a trauma reaction

You know the feeling. The reactivity, the outsized emotions, feeling out of control in the present because of what happened in the past. I know that it sucks. Feeling like your past is thwarting what you want in the present, making you behave in a way that doesn't feel true to you.

You want to be bigger than what you’ve been through, but you find yourself repeating old patterns, carrying your history into your relationships.

You want to trust yourself and chosen others. You want to feel secure. You want to tell the difference between your anxiety and what's true. You want to be open and connected! You want to be proud of how you treat yourself and others.

And you can be.

Your not defined by a choice someone else made.

You are defined by how you choose to heal and interact with the repercussions now.  That doesn't mean you're perfect, that's not at all what I mean. That path isn't linear, but the point of it, that you're on the path.

I want to help you build unconditional self-love and create secure relationships so you can have the bold, awesome life that is truly you. The life you deserve.
